About Me

I am a retired Family and Consumer Science teacher with 33 years of teaching experience. I have a strong clothing construction background as I taught all the sewing classes in the high school.   Following my retirement I taught quilting classes at the local quilt shop as well as made the store samples and quilted customer quilts on the longarm.  I continually strive to improve and take longarm classes at MQX New England, and at various quilt shows.

I started quilting in 1981 and hand quilted all my quilts.  Many years ago I learned to machine quilt on my domestic machine.  In 2012 I purchased my own Gammill Vision and started my at home business of machine quilting.  In 2015 I computerized my machine by adding IntelliQuilter, giving my customers many choices of digitized patterns to choose from.

My home is smoke and pet-free and I will strive to give you quick turn around on your quilt.

Your quilt is a work of art. I will work with you to select the best design and thread to enhance your quilt. The quilting is the third and final layer in bringing your quilt to life. My goal is to do the very best I can to bring out the beauty of your quilt.
